Copenhagen Fashion Week closed last Sunday 7 February 2011 and over 35 designers showed their offerings for Autum/Winter 2011 collections. Since we are just starting the new season, I will look at the S/S 2011 fashion offerings. While some of the designers tend to bring pieces that are overworked and over theatrical which does tend to put buyers off. Still there were a few collections that are very commercial and beautifully designed and constructed.
I love the Norwegian label Ils of Norway, their collection used very mute colours, soft pinks, greys, nudes and creams with the odd splash of colour; flirty skirts and skinny trousers over slouchy tops; there were a few embellish tops teamed with shorts that gave the collection a little bit of an edge. The collection is quite romantic and feminine and very wearable. Here are my favorite looks from the catwalk show.
