Today I was browsing through some friend's pictures and noticed that one of the friends tends to wear clear strap bras with her strapless dresses/tops and got me thinking about whether underwear should be shown or not. Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City had her underwear on show and of course the divine Dolce & Gabbana have made a career of underwear shown as outerwear or at least to peep through the clothes.
Beautiful underwear peeping through the clothes, can look flirty, sexy, cute if it is done well, with emphasis on beautiful and well fitted underwear. But I will never understand the need to wear clear straps underwear, if you don't want to show, invest in a good bra that will do the job....otherwise, go hell for leather and put it on show, but this half way, is a no no no.
I agree! Do you know this designer Blanca? She's Dutch, but also in Belgium you're a nobody if you don't own at least one of her bra's. I love them, they are designed to show the straps yet they're completely wearable! (Not all of us can pull off what Carrie Bradshaw can) http://www.marliesdekkers.com/
